Design Center of the Carolinas

Nebel's Knitting once occupied the historic building now known as the Design Center. Innovative for the time, Nebel's Knitting paved the way for the Design Center to become a restaurant and retail hub in the heart of South End. The Center showcases the best that the neighborhood has to offer, from locally-owned shops to national retailers to beloved public art works.
