Wilmore Centennial Park at South End.

Enjoy green space in the heart of South End.

Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation, together with Beacon Partners, constructed the Wilmore Centennial Park at South End at the corner of S Tryon and Kingston Ave (1711 S Tryon St.). The land that was partially donated by the Historic Wilmore Neighborhood and The Square at South End, developed by Beacon Partners, was built in conjunction with the park.

The park features a large open lawn area facing uptown, areas for art displays, sitting areas, natural play area, and variety of outdoor spaces for gathering and leisure activities.
