Events in South End

A few times a year, we pull out all the stops to show off the businesses and special places that really make South End different by design.

Every week, head to the South End Farmer's Market at Atherton Mill to discover goods from local artisans and farmers.

Shop local every month at Front Porch Sundays and Bop Around the Block, block-party style markets with dozens of pop-up vendors, food trucks and live music, or shop under the stars at Nebel's Alley Night Market.

Explore local art every month at First Friday Gallery Crawl, a night when galleries stay open late with special receptions, live painting, music, and more.

Shop Small Saturdays kicks off the winter holiday season every winter with a series of street festivals, while I Heart Rail Trail: Lights illuminates the Rail Trail for two weeks at the start of every spring. Kick off the summer season at Camden Commons, an outdoor living room where you can eat, play games, and hang out in the middle of South End's main road. Lastly, watch Movies in the Park every spring and fall.

There’s never a bad day to explore South End, and there’s always another neat neighborhood event just around the corner! Learn more about each event:
