Date Night at Rail Trail Lights

Make Rail Trail Lights a Date to Remember.

There's magic on the Rail Trail during Rail Trail Lights, and you can make the most of the festival by crafting a date night sure to impress. Check out three ways to treat your boo at Rail Trail Lights:

Cocktails and Conversation

Start at Cheek's Laboratory at The Pavilion, then walk to Flower Child to find Kaleidoscopic and Gold Rush. Keep walking the Rail Trail to find Moment at Kingston Connection. Cross the street and find The Lighted Cube at the Design Center Plaza, then walk under the historic water tower to discover Elsewhere, an intimate pocket bar perfect for craft cocktails and conversation. Walk to Atherton, where you'll find High Beams. Hang out at the Atherton Plaza and enjoy music from local musicians each weekend during the festival. Then, walk across the street for sushi with a flare (literally, some of the rolls are seared tableside) at Yunta, a restaurant across from Atherton offering Nikkei Cuisine, which is a blend of Peruvian and Japanese cooking styles and flavors.

Small Plates and Spanish Wine

Begin at VINYL, where you can start your date with a craft cocktail and a plate of truffle fries. Walk towards Futo Buta to find Cheek's Laboratory at The Pavilion. Keep walking to find Kaleidoscopic and Gold Rush at Flower Child, then walk to Kingston Connection to find Moment. Make sure to stop and write on the Rail Trail Chalkboard before moving on to the Design Center Plaza, where you'll find The Lighted Cube and an intimate dinner at Barcelona. Fill up on Spanish tapas before continuing your Rail Trail adventure. End the night at Atherton, where you can find High Beams. Listen to music at Atherton Plaza every weekend during the festival or stop into Vin Master to continue your wine tour.

    Candles and Casual Dinner

Start at Cheek's Laboratory at The Pavilion and then walk towards Gold Rush and Kaleidoscopic at Flower Child. Walk on the Rail Trail towards Moment at Kingston Connection, stopping to write a note on the Rail Trail Chalkboard before moving on to the Design Center Plaza, where you'll find The Lighted Cube. Make a pitstop at Paddywax Candle Bar to pour your own candle, customized with your favorite scents and container. When you're done, take a photo at the Confetti Hearts Mural. Be sure to scan the QR Code next to the mural to generate a filter and learn about the mural from the artist! Stop inside Petit Philippe to sample wines from around the world before moving on to see High Beams at Atherton. End your adventure with a casual dinner at Trolley Barn. Pro tip: Grab a seat on their second story patio to look over the Rail Trail and all of the installations!
