Since COVID-19 dramatically changed the world as we know it, alcohol and drug use has been dramatically on the rise. But what do you do if a loved one is drinking more than normal? How do you know if there’s an issue? And what are their options for treatment?
In honor of Alcohol Awareness Month, join Charlotte Rescue Mission for a virtual conversation on Understanding Addiction: Walking With Loved Ones Through Alcohol Abuse. We will hear from substance abuse counselors from Charlotte Rescue Mission, Anuvia Prevention & Recovery Center, McLeod Addictive Disease Center, and Hope Haven. We’ll discuss the disease of addiction, how to know if a loved one is struggling with alcohol abuse, and what resources are available to get help.
