Charlotte-based Cynthia Flaxman Frank is a studio artist whose work as a graphic designer carries over to the canvas and informs her subject matter and process—symbol, icon, ephemera, the printed word, the repetition of mass production. The resulting images comprise the unique pages of her particular narrative.
