SouthEnd ARTS will premiere “JUSTICE”, a virtual art gallery exhibition, on October 2 at 7 p.m. on Facebook, IGTV, YouTube, and the SouthEnd ARTS website.
The premiere will include the debut of a documentary-style art exhibition video inspired by past in-person events. In addition to the video, all art selected for the exhibition will be available for purchase on the SouthEnd ARTS website until December 1.
Hosted by awarding-winning syndicated radio personality and host, Francene Marie, “JUSTICE” will feature a diverse cast of creators and artists, including social justice speaker Tommie Robinson, a pillar of Charlotte’s art community and an internationally known artist. Exhibiting artists will show what “JUSTICE” means to them through their creative process.
At the conclusion of the video on October 2, cash prizes will be awarded to three juried award-winning artists.
“JUSTICE” exhibition was curated by Noah Hartley and was judged by Sonya Pfeiffer, civil rights attorney and owner of the Elder Gallery of Contemporary Art. “JUSTICE” was made possible in part by the Arts & Science Council, Balto Creative Media, and Blue Tide Creative.
