Down with My Demons spotlights local talent, both in art and music, in an effort to create a more open dialog about mental health. Eight Carolina based artists have been selected to showcase their diverse personal styles paired with their unanimous ability to evoke emotion and portray concepts. Accompanying the art show will be musical performances by local Charlotte bands Modern Primitives, Zodiac Lovers, Lxs Ortiz, and Lofidels which will be live streamed online.
The Friday, September 4th gallery reception will feature performances by Lxs Ortiz and Lofidels. Social distancing, space capacity limits and face masks will be enforced at both gallery receptions.
