Curious about how to get started with watercolor painting, or just looking to try something new? In this class, local artist Ali Loncar-Bridges will walk us through the fundamentals of watercolor! After a quick rundown of recommended materials, we'll dive into mixing paints and colors. Then, Ali will teach beginner-level techniques including wet-on-wet, blooming, and wet-on-dry painting. By the end of class, you'll have an understanding of the basics and be ready to keep practicing!
To follow along with this class, you'll need a medium watercolor brush, paint, and watercolor paper. We'll send out a detailed list of recommended products upon registration.
WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS CLASS?
This virtual class is open to anyone! Before the class, you'll receive a unique link & password to access the workshop. You'll be able to ask questions, interact with the teacher and engage with other students during class, and a replay will be available to watch again for all enrolled students.
