The Barks & Bluegrass Benefit afternoon fundraiser is an outdoor event that unites hundreds of craft beer and music/dog lovers to support American Lung Association's strategic imperative to defeat lung cancer. Musical guest Province of Thieves, Carolina Music Award's Bluegrass Band of the Year, will perform the best of their original music covers. Pop-up vendor shops will be on-site to bring additional excitement to the event. The fundraiser will announce the winner of our online dog contest (www.FidosForceCharlotte.org), Fido's Force, that runs for two weeks prior to the event. Attendees are welcome to bring their dogs as they vie for final votes leading up to the announcement of "Fido's Force Top Dog". We anticipate over 600 attendees at the event.
