Come grab a cup of morning coffee and join us for an exciting presentation and panel discussion hosted at the Charlotte Urban Design Center. First in a series of conversations bringing together urban design professionals, the topic will be “Creating Place in the Suburbs”. There will be a coffee cart set up in the plaza serving an assortment of espresso beverages free of charge from mobile espresso bar, Open View Coffee, along with pastries!
There will be a short presentation on the topic, followed by a facilitated panel discussion and audience Q+A. Panelists Amy Bezanson, Director of Design at Crescent Communities, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, and Chris Thomas, a partner at Childress Klein, will speak to their experiences working to create a sense of place in the suburbs of Charlotte.
