Nestled in the heart of Charlotte’s South End District the Dilworth Artisan Station has become one of the city’s hubs for artistic creativity. The three-story building was originally a factory and has seen numerous changes in how it served Charlotte and the surrounding area. It has been a furniture factory, textile mill, even storage for soldiers’ cars during World War II. Today, it is a hub for artists, creatives, and innovators, with 30+ artist studios and businesses under one roof. The building is located at the end of East Kingston Avenue overlooking the light rail line.
