The team behind Roots Catering and Roots Cafe is hosting a socially distant, COVID friendly wine and culinary tasting evening at The Collector’s Room in South End Charlotte. The event held on February 11 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM will allow for guests to enjoy “traveling the world” without stepping foot on a plane.
Tickets will be purchased in time slots, and stations will be distanced 20’ apart with a waiting table in between to ensure that everyone gets the time they want at each table and can stay more than appropriately distanced from one another. Groups will move around the perimeter of the room from tasting table to tasting table and finally to our check out, where special, one day only, wine pricing will be available.
Masks will be required to be worn at all times except when tasting wine or eating food.
The tickets will be $98 per person and will include: 20 wines to taste, 10 small plates, and 4 bottles of wine from the tasting to be delivered to your home. Additional bottles will be priced at $15 each when purchased that day.
There will be wine and food from five regions of the world: Eastern Europe, New World, France, Spain and the land Down Under.
