On October 2 at 7 p.m., SouthEnd ARTS will premiere JUSTICE, a virtual art gallery exhibition, and you’re invited!
The premiere will include the debut of a documentary-style art exhibition video inspired by our past in-person events, which due to COVID-19, we are unable to host at this time. In addition to the video, art selected for the exhibition will be available for purchase on the SouthEnd ARTS website.
Partygoers can expect an evening featuring art, music, and storytelling. You can support local art and artists all from the comfort of your own home. At 7 p.m. head to either the SouthEnd ARTS Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube accounts. You can also head to our website (southendarts.net) for the video and to view the full exhibition.
Featuring diverse creators and artists, including Tommie Robinson, one of Charlotte’s most influential Black artists, the documentary will showcase the rich history of art in the Queen City. Exhibiting artists will show what JUSTICE means to them through their creative process.
The host for the JUSTICE exhibit is Francene Marie, syndicated radio personality and host. The exhibition was curated by Noah Hartley and judged by Sonya Pfeiffer from the Elder Gallery of Contemporary Art.
At the conclusion of the video on October 2, cash prizes will be announced and awarded to three artists.
We hope you join us at the premiere of JUSTICE on October 2 at 7 p.m.! Tune in on our Facebook, Instagram or YouTube accounts, or head to our website to watch and view the full exhibition.
